They Call Me Vanache

This is for all you tastemakers out there. For a long time, I’ve been entertaining conversations with tastemaker wanna be’s, pros and appreciators; and one of the common statements that I hear is “Japan is the spot man!, If you want to get up on anything and everything fashion, you gotta be all up in Japan.” And though I agree that Japan has a wonderful palette of different influences and tastes to learn from, it pains me to hear this statement reiterated over AND over AND over again.

I GET IT.. (HAHA) ..
JAPAN is cool

But since the world is like .. I don’t know.. way bigger than just one country, I’m pretty sure we should start looking beyond the blinders to start generating more original products.
