You know, if there is anything I hate more; it’s idiots asking you if your still involved with your passion. What kind of bullshit is that to ask a person. When I started my college career in 2005, I transitioned from an aspiring producer, into a student with a bright future. But in my three years of school, I never quit working at my craft. Training, honing, perfecting, and changing form … I mean college was the perfect environment to develop my skills further without any pressures. But I would always get questions like,
HEY! Do you still do your music thing?
Word of advice, never ask anyone in music, art or anything a question like that. If they want to let you know whats going on in that world they will tell you. Other than that, it doesn’t make for great conversation at all. It only serves as inspiration to call you all types of names in our minds. Like Cock Socker, Jack Ass, Douche Rag. I mean the list goes on. LOL …
Well apparently, this is a question that must be all too common in the creative world, because my homie Sock the Rapper has released yet another mixtape entitled “U Still Rap”?
